Beginners Pottery Hand Building Lessons (6 weeks)
- Nov 14th – Dec 19th 2023 (Tuesdays)
- Nov 16th – Dec 21st 2023 (Thursdays)
- Timings – 6pm to 8pm
- Cost – £200 – Includes all raw materials & firing costs with 3 completed pots to take away. Size of pots will be explained during the sessions.
- Learn techniques such as pinched pots, slab building, coiled pots, carving, using press molds and more. There is no wheel throwing in this session.
- If a person is interested to make more pots the extra cost is £2/lb of wet clay
- Maximum of 8 spaces available
- Pots will be usually ready to take home 3~4 weeks after the course is completed…please be patient…if its ready before that you will be intimidated
- Payment must be made by online bank transfer at least 14 days prior to the course
Taster Hand Building Workshop
Give pottery a go in this 2 hour workshop.
This is a hand building session where you will make 2 pots (slab and pinch). Glazing will be done by the instructor after it is bisque fired.
Cost is £50 /pp with a min of 4 and max of 8 people and includes material and firing costs.
If you have anything in mind that you want to do, kindly let me know. Pots will be usually ready 3~4 weeks after the session is completed.

RAKU Workshops 2024
On weekends and it takes about 5 hours based on numbers enrolled. It’s tailor made for individuals or groups.
Each person can glaze 4 bisqued pots with a combination of a copper matt glaze & naked raku slip and glaze.
The people in the workshop should be able to assist in the firing as it’s a complete hands on workshop.
Cost is £100/ pp with a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 8 people.

Making Organic Shaped Bonsai Pots 2024
On weekends and it’s a 4 hour session. It’s tailor made for individuals or groups.
You will be working on terracotta clay and each person can hand build 2 pots. There is no wheel throwing in this workshop.
Cost is £75 / pp with a min of 6 & max of 8 people. The pot will be fired once giving it a matt finish and will be ready 3 ~ 4 weeks after the course is completed.
If a different clay body and glazing is needed, please let us know and we will let you know the extra cost accordingly.

Hand Building or Throwing on the Wheel - 1 to 1 Tuition
If you prefer a more in depth learning then 1:1 tuition of pottery is for you & can work as a one off activity and the cost is £45 per hour with a min of 2 hours and you can take back 1 or 2 completed pots.
Glazing will be done by the instructor and will be ready after 3 ~ 4 weeks.
