Wagagai Gold! A large cauldron shaped hand built bonsai pot glazed with a vanadium ochre crater glaze and fired multiple times to get the desired burnt matt finish. It’s presented with a 8yr old Baobab Tree (Adansonia Digitata). The Menhir of Auroville! This 16’’ vase was fired raw in a wood ‘Indygama’ kiln in Auroville, India for 3 days. The rustic tones of the fired piece is got from a heavily grogged iron rich clay body and the ash drips & flashes of the fire are clearly visible as well.
